How the virtual clinic works

Four steps, one coordinated team

1

Choose your clinic

Pick the service that fits what you need. Each clinic has its own page explaining who it is for and how it works.

2

Assess online

Complete a private online assessment. A licensed BC physician or nurse practitioner reviews it and decides what is appropriate.

3

We prepare it

If treatment follows, Carebridge dispenses or compounds it, checks it against your PharmaNet profile, and counsels you.

4

Follow-up and delivery

Your pharmacist follows up, and your medication comes to you by free local delivery or is ready for pickup on Main Street.

Carebridge coordinates and dispenses; it does not diagnose or prescribe. Assessment and prescribing are performed by independent, licensed BC clinicians. Completing an assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis or a prescription, and you may fill any prescription at the BC pharmacy of your choice.

  • Every prescription checked against your PharmaNet profile before it is dispensed
  • On-site compounding for custom strengths, flavours, and dosage forms
  • Pharmacist follow-up, not just a prescription sent into the void
  • Free, discreet local delivery across Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, and the North Shore
  • Your choice of pharmacy is always yours; Carebridge is the default, not a requirement

The virtual clinic, answered

What is the Carebridge Virtual Clinic?

It is a set of online clinics that connect you with a licensed BC physician or nurse practitioner for assessment, with Carebridge Pharmacy preparing, checking, and following up on any treatment. It covers weight, skin, menopause and hormones, erectile dysfunction, testosterone, alcohol support, ADHD assessment, and private lab testing. Each clinic has its own page.

Do I need a referral to use a clinic?

No. You can start any clinic directly, with no referral. If a family doctor already knows your history, sharing that information helps the assessing clinician, but it is not required.

Is it covered by MSP or insurance?

It varies by clinic. Some assessments are private, self-pay services and are not billed to MSP. Medication is separate: many private drug plans cover part of the cost, and some medications are covered by PharmaCare or Special Authority. Each clinic page explains its pricing, and our pharmacist can help you check coverage.

Who does the diagnosing and prescribing?

Independent, licensed BC physicians or nurse practitioners. Carebridge Pharmacy coordinates the process and dispenses; it does not diagnose or prescribe. Completing an assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis or a prescription.

Can I use my own pharmacy?

Yes. You may fill any prescription at the BC pharmacy of your choice. Carebridge is the default because it lets us provide coordinated dispensing, PharmaNet review, and follow-up, but it is never a requirement.

Is the virtual clinic available across British Columbia?

Yes. Assessments are online and available to BC residents. Free local delivery covers Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, and the North Shore, and we can arrange other delivery across BC. You are always welcome to pick up on Main Street.
